The Principal is expected to work closely with other EXCO members to lead the Good Shepherd Preschools towards the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the school, under the direction of the Advisor and the Good Shepherd Preschools Management Committee.

**The Principal is expected to carry out the following responsibilities**:

- Supervision of teaching staff
- Recruitment of teachers
- Staff Management
- Curriculum Development
- Enrolment of children
- Programme and Service Delivery
- Partnership with parents
- Public Relations
- Liaise and correspond with ECDA
- Work with other EXCO members to liaise and correspond with the School Management Committee
- Prepare the annual report for the Preschool
- Financial Management
- Purchasing
- School Maintenance
- Supervision of non-teaching staff
- Oversee projects such as fundraising, special school events etc
- Maintain a system of proper office administration and operations
- Maintain the confidentiality of the organisation’s information, documents, and database
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Advisor and the School Management Committee

**Requirements**:

- Must possess at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) and Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Leadership (DECCE-L).
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in a preschool setting.
- Must hold a valid ECDA-recognised Level 2 certification and the Leadership (L2) certification as required for Centre Leaders.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Passion for working with children and guiding teachers in a nurturing and professional environment.
