**About the Role**:
In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the tourism industry in Singapore. You will be responsible for assisting our team of Enforcement Officers in conducting compliance checks on various aspects of the industry, including:

- **Tourist Guiding**:

- Conduct ground checks to identify unlicensed tourist guiding activities across various tourist attractions, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Verify licenses and ensure compliance with tourist guide regulations among licensed guides.
- Educate guides on proper conduct and practices.
- Observe and report any breaches of regulations or misconduct by tourist guides.
- Prepare detailed reports of your checks, including locations, times, and any observations requiring further investigation.
- **Travel Agents**:

- Assist Enforcement Officers in conducting checks on travel agencies.
- **Hotels**:

- Conduct compliance checks on licensed hotels and hostels, completing checklists and reporting any potential non-compliance issues.
- Identify and investigate premises suspected of operating without a hotel license.
- Perform ad-hoc checks on hotels as needed.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Possesses a strong sense of observation and attention to detail.
- Is proactive, self-motivated, and enjoys working independently.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Is computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Has a strong sense of integrity and ethics.
- Preferably has some experience in the tourism or hospitality industry (a plus, but not mandatory).
