JR39686 Intern - Assembly Process Engineering

Location: MSB, Singapore

Department: Process and Equipment Engineering

Project Title: Micron - Industry Vision For Better Tomorrow

Description: In Semiconductor industry, the last phase of assembly process involved the encapsulation of dies into a singulated package and send for open short/automated vision inspection. Well development of recipe and mínimal defects will make balance of cost, downtime and profit. Through this project, you will be working in Micron, the leading industry of memory chip to explore the insight of assembly automated vision inspection process.

Scope: The student will learn through the following skills before commencing to work:
a) Establish day-to-day monitoring on process control and disposition skill

b) Involve in process and productivity improvement projects

c) Develop recipe creation and optimization tecnique for AOI tools

d) Coordinate with backend process to minimize escape and maximize detection

Deliverable: Contribute operationally and develop monthly vision KPI report.

Skillset Require: Students pursuing Diploma in Engineering

Course of Interest: Engineering and Technical Hands-On

Duration Period: Min 6 months
