We are looking for a permanent Innovation Lab Manager to join our BSI team in Singapore.
BSI is expanding investment in Innovation, both in terms of enabling and futureproofing existing key BSI business solutions, as well as radical innovation and new solutions that extend trust, resilience, and sustainability. BSI is seeking an Innovation leader to lead our Innovation Lab in Singapore. This lab will lead our Innovation efforts to create, manage and drive radical disruptions within the region.
As the Innovation Lab Manager, you will lead a team tasked with solving complex client challenges that shape the form in which we provide Assurance and trust-based solutions. With oversight from the Group Innovation Director, this leader will look for new forms of Trust-enabled solutions that address the needs of current and new markets throughout BSI Group. These solutions will leverage emerging technologies, service delivery change, and other innovative approaches and improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to develop Design Thinking-based solutions that help internal and external stakeholders solve complex business issues
- Collaborate with senior executives of clients and BSI leadership to plan client feedback and challenge forums for future technology solutions
- Engage new and existing partners and technology providers to co-create new solutions
- Accelerate the way the BSI goes to market as a technology-enabled services business
- Lead and facilitate client sessions, including facilitating exercises, capturing session outputs, and contributing to a seamless client experience
- Create high-quality deliverables and assist in creating follow-up communications, case studies, and strategic intelligence
- Scout the Singapore and APAC region for potential partners that offer technologies that complement the Lab’s focus areas and digital disruption appetite
- Understand and be comfortable executing Lab facilitation techniques and Design Thinking methodologies to help clients solve complex business challenges
- Engaging with senior BSI leaders to help shape and prioritise their innovation objectives and collaborate across businesses, geographies, and/or enabling areas to execute toward defined innovation objectives
- Helping shape future BSI offerings by identifying emerging trends, white-space opportunities for the firm, and building new programs within identified offerings
What we are looking for:
Education/Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Significant recent experience in design thinking, facilitation, training, or similar industries
- Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and effectively manage relationships with client stakeholders and BSI senior management
- Demonstrated ability and a proven track record of success in delivering client services in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Strong operational skills and attention to detail; ability to work on different projects and deliver high-quality deliverables in committed time frames
- Proven ability to take initiative in a data analysis role
- Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with colleagues
- Ability to quickly assimilate data structures and relationships across data sources
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write strong code that is modular and tested
- Ability to align data analysis research with BSI's goals and objectives
- Experience use case and project management _(Desirable)_
- A general experience with disruptive technologies including AI, Data Science, Blockchain, Augmented Reality, RPA’s _(Desirable)_
