Overview:
The beverage business in India is experiencing unprecedented growth and demand for concentrate supply has exceeded the capacity of the existing manufacturing facility in Channo, India. PepsiCo is currently in the process of identifying a suitable site to construct a new concentrate facility in India to augment the concentrate supply. Current timelines for construction and commissioning of a new concentrate facility in India will require alternative supply chain arrangements until mid 2026.

Singapore is the current backup site for India concentrate supply. Concentrate support volumes will grow to represent an additional 43% of Singapore’s base volume (APAC and Bangladesh) by 2026.

This role is responsible for managing the supply of FG Concentrate from Singapore to India, including leading the coordination between the India and Singapore Supply Chain Teams and ensuring clear communication processes are in place to facilitate efficient supply. Key to this role is the minimisation of any requirement for expedited raw material shipments and to support and facilitate the clearance of imported FG Concentrate into India without incurring additional demurrage and freight costs due to delays in provision of documentation to the various regulatory bodies required for approval.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead coordination and planning for all India Support Volumes with the local Singapore Team & the India Materials Planning & Inventory role
- Demand planning for India Support Volumes and Bangladesh Market, including the management of demand forecasting for the Singapore Materials and Manufacturing requirements.
- Support India Supply Planning and Materials Planning roles (Channo Based)
- Manage S&D Costs associated with India Support Volumes
- Lead Optimisation of supply for India Support Volumes including product format, warehousing and shipping
- Management of new SKU introduction and product changes related to the India Support Volumes
- Lead Communication and Change Management activities on site in Singapore for India Support Volumes
- Engagement with India BU PPGA, Legal and SRA to facilitate importation of India Supply Volumes
- Manage Coded Material planning and Interplant Transfers to Guangzhou, Channo and Hattar
- BCP Readiness Assessments for Singapore to support India and other PGCS sites as required
- Support improved SAP leverage by India Supply Chain Team

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations or other relevant field of study
- Multi-market, multi-site supply chain with deep understanding of supply chain activities and business critical planning and ability to take a pragmatic practical approach.
- Proven ability to manage business complexity and change, and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent supervisory and communication skills and strong interpersonal skills coupled with collaborative approach, to get things done both up and across the organization
- Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization, ability to influence and align teams in a matrix and virtual environment
- Resilient, with flexible upbeat and positive attitude to act as strong role model for Asia Organisation and Global Supply Chain team
- Multi-cultural acumen and cross-cultural communications
- An understanding of PepsiCo manufacturing asset base and SAP is desirable
- Knowledge of Lean Six-Sigma concepts and methodologies
