**Our client is a China-Headquartered Tech Company with its South-East Asia HQ based in Singapore and is seeking an experienced DBA to join them. **Office is located in Orchard Area next to MRT station.****

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, sort out, and optimize existing relational database (MySQL) architectures and noSQL architectures (redis, mongo, memcached).
- Responsible for the daily operation, configuration, monitoring, disaster recovery and management of the database
- Manage issues in the operation of the business database to ensure the security and availability of business data
- Provide suggestions for SQL optimization in system development
- Develop database cache and relational database design and development specifications, and regularly train the business development team****



**Requirements**:

- More than 5 years of database management experience in Linux platform;
- Proficient in MySQL daily management, proficient in MySQL master-slave replication, read/write splitting, database and table sharding design, data backup, and service expansion;
- Proficient in the principles of MySQL database engine, in-depth understanding of the implementation mechanism of the database engine, and able to optimize the database according to the relevant mechanism;
- Proficient in Redis sentinel, Redis cluster, capacity expansion, daily maintenance and performance optimization experience, familiar with common NoSQL deployment management;
- Be good at learning and summarizing, pay attention to the development of database technology, and understand new technologies;
- Have a strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, actively share, and improve the technical level of the whole team;
- Those who have participated in the design and implementation of large-scale database management systems are preferred;
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (daily liaison with mandarin-speaking colleagues based in China is required)
