DESIGNATION : Social Worker (FSCAM)
RESPONSIBILITIES
**SOCIAL WORKER**
You will be involved in casework, counselling and programmes at our family service centres and elderly centres.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conducts casework and manages case consultations
- Networks and partners with relevant stakeholders and organizations
- Volunteer management and providing supervision for volunteers and interns
- Conduct analyses, develops and implements programmes and services to meet the needs of the community
- Plans, executes and evaluates ongoing programmes and services
- For Senior positions, provide clinical supervision to professional & support staff involved in casework, and responsible for the professional development of social workers
- Any other additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned, if need be, from time to time
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from NUS/ Monash/UniSIM or any other recognised university
- Bilingual and be able to speak other dialects to communicate with the clients and stakeholders, preferable Tamil language proficiency to cater to clients.
- A good team player and with good written and interpersonal skills
- Passion to serve and to work with youths and their families
- Conduct home visitations
QUALIFICATIONS
Social work experience
Social Worker degree
Should be able to manage 25 average active cases
Team player
Able to to work under stress and pressure
Able to work as per demand of the hours, inclusive of weekends, when handling crisis situation
