Critical to our goal of driving the institutional adoption of digital assets and cryptocurrencies is developing a global advocacy strategy with regulators and customers. We are building a world-class team of experts to support this effort by interpreting and influencing law and regulation as it evolves in the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to contribute to global alignment in our messaging across regulatory interactions and primary responsibility for driving regulatory strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a regulatory engagement strategy for the Asia-Pacific region, taking into account the priorities of business and customers
- Contribute to shaping the policy environment and narrative around digital asset adoption in the region
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to deliver pragmatic policy guidance, develop regulatory outreach plans, and include policy considerations as part of the overall product design and business roadmap
Develop and manage external counsel relationships in the region
- Legal and commercial drafting
- Be prepared to take on additional projects and/or responsibilities as a member of a quickly growing company with evolving needs

**Requirements**:

- Law degree or equivalent professional qualification
- 5+ years of relevant experience in regulatory strategy and outreach to a diverse set of stakeholders within legal, policy, or government role
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape for financial services in APAC, with an interest and/or experience in digital asset issues preferred
- Demonstrated experience effectively engaging with regional conduct and prudential regulators (e.g., MAS, JFSA, etc.) and international standard-setting bodies
- Experience working with product and engineering teams
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to solve novel problems and provide effective advice in an uncertain regulatory environment,
- A strong interest in digital assets, crypto markets, and blockchain technology
- Willingness to travel
