LILY is Singapore’s first research centre focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) research for successful aging. At LILY, we focus on developing Humanized AI technologies. Through cutting edge human-in-loop AI research including curious AI, persuasive AI, explainable AI and crowd AI, LILY has developed an ecosystem of humanized AI-powered platforms to help aging societies become “ageless”.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct individual and collaborative research projects and work with the research team to provide technical solutions
- Continually update knowledge and understanding in the field or specialism to inform research activity
- Reproduce the results of existing methods, implement and evaluate proposed algorithms
- Contribute to publications or disseminating research findings using media appropriate to the discipline
- Participate regularly in group meetings and prepare and deliver presentations to the team
- Assist in project management

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., JAVA, Python, GoLang, C++)
- Background in software engineering, UI/UX development, with good programming skills
- Experience in the computer graphics domain and in using 3D modelling tools (e.g., Blender)
- Prior research experience in Machine Learning, AI, and working with large-scale datasets
- Background and knowledge in digital signal processing, sensor fusion, etc.
- Prior research experience in the healthcare or education domain
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations in rapidly changing research environment
