**Position Summary
**Responsibilities**

Primary Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities by identifying potential locations and facilities
- Analyze the receiving, inventory and fulfillment data within proposals to estimate activity level
- Engineer facility, equipment layouts, staffing requirements, processes and flows
- Identify facility upfits and equipment requirements
- Work with functional support groups to develop and prepare solutions
- Prepare perspective client proposals and assist the Business Development Manager in presenting solutions to perspective clients
- Develop project costs and pricing for approval by Management
- Interface as required with the clients, vendors and various key stakeholders including Operations Teams, project personnel, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, Account Management and Information Technology staff to fully and accurately define requirements and solution approach.
- Strong problem-solving skill - both high level conceptual problem solving and analytical problem solving.
- Data driven individual with ability to analyse and synthesize complex data and information into actionable insights.

**Qualifications Summary**

**Experience**:
This position requires minimum of three years experience in one or more key functional areas: supply chain management, logistics, transportation management, distribution or in an industrial environment.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in an Industrial Engineering field (or Supply Chain Management equivalent).

**Skills**:

- **Technical Skill Requirements**
- Strong project management skills
- Process oriented with analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience with logistics decision support and computer modeling software preferred
- Operational experience required
- Lean Six - Sigma certification desired
- Requires excellent computer skills, including spreadsheet and database proficiency
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and supply chain best practices such as Lean Management principals
- Experience using CAD to prepare operational layouts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
- Ability to deal with complex, short-time frame situations required

- Able to strategize and effectively communicate with employees, customers & vendors
- Able to use systematic approach in decision-making and problem solving
- Able to exhibit sound judgment and understanding of issues

- Must be versatile and flexible

- Ability to travel within the Asia-Pacific region is advantageous
