
Director, Group Finance Transformation

**Responsibilities:
The role is Responsible for developing and leading a program strategy and the long-term plan for the Finance Digital Transformation program that will be deliver high levels of productivity, cost savings and engagement levels across Finance:
- Lead the multi-year finance digitisation program, setting up of the program through to the delivery of the new capabilities and realisation of benefits.
- Establish and lead a core team with solid capability across program execution, change management, program risk management, business architecture, and business process re-engineering that will deliver the key strategic initiatives.
- Establish partnership with Group IT over the Data Governance and architecture framework for a single source of truth for reporting.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive stakeholder management strategy and plan to build long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external).
- Actively manage risks and issues by establishing a robust governance structure and operating rhythm to enable timely and accurate information flow, progressive updates, timely decision making, and effective engagement.
- The program director will liaise closely with Singtel/NCS CFOs, Head of DPM, project managers, and the delivery Vendors to plan, prioritise and resource the program.
The role will also work closely with the Optus finance teams to enable cross collaboration on finance transformation initiatives and ensure consistency of approach and alignment on finance systems strategy.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to the Associate Director Finance Systems at Optus to deliver financial systems enhancements and align with the overall Group Finance Systems Strategy.
- Collaborate to share learning across and support the Associate Director - Finance Systems to identify, recommend, and implement technology improvements.
- Provide support and advice to the Senior Director Financial Services on the strategic programs.
- Provide guidance and support to the Associate Director, Finance Systems to drive improvement in the IT support model; for Optus’ Finance Systems by sharing best practice and ensuring the SLAs with Internal & external vendors are robust, have clear accountability and appropriate incidentcategorisation across all Finance System in Scope.
- Provide advice to the Associate Director Finance Systems and demand management of minor enhancements requests and support the development of and appropriate demand management framework to ensure prioritised and stakeholders managed.
**Requirements:
- 12-15 years senior experience in finance/accounting in a large complex corporation.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to effective business solutions in a large and commercially competitive organization.
- Strong commercial background coupled with excellent analytical/strategic thinking capability.
- Highly proficient in developing long term strategic plans for businesses. Superior knowledge and use of strategic and business planning methodologies.
- Ability to lead commercial negotiations in an environment of constant change with large and complex deals.
- Strong understanding of complex IT systems and ability to navigate through the complex IT structures.
- Ability to produce clear, factual and relevant data in written reports for executive and board reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple, large, complex projects.
- Ability to work with and present to an Optus Executive team, formal SingTel Committees etc.
- Highly proficient at structuring and simplifying complex ideas in written and verbal communications. Confident and experienced presenter to Senior Executives.
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills through high impact influencing and relationship building
- Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications.
- Strives for personal excellence and works effectively with teams to achieve results, motivate, and develop a strong, positive, effective work culture.
- Collaborative & collegiate - able to build strong relationships with management teams and influence for desired business outcomes.
