**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the management of data, compliance, and financial crime risks, ensuring comprehensive risk oversight across the organization.
- Develop and implement firm-wide risk management frameworks, policies, and standards tailored to a fintech focused on banking technology.
- Administer risk management tools such as Risk and Control Self-Assessment and product governance reviews, aligning them with governance needs at various growth stages.
- Work closely with the first line of defense to resolve identified risks, assess risk treatments, and monitor the organization’s risk profile from a second-line perspective.
- Serve as the Executive Risk Committee Secretary, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and following up on key action points.
- Act as the Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act and other relevant regulations in global jurisdictions.
- Foster a strong risk culture by embedding internal controls, conducting risk training, and enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with industry laws and standards.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive Risk Management Experience: At least 10 years of operational or enterprise risk management experience, with 3-5 years in third-party outsourcing risk, business continuity management (BCM), disaster recovery, and crisis management within banks or fintech companies.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and lead in uncharted situations without precedent.
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of regulatory environments for digital platforms and banks, with hands-on experience in implementing compliance frameworks in various geographies.
- Technological Acumen: In-depth understanding of technology trends and developments that impact the business, including collaboration with technology teams on disaster recovery and testing.
- Effective Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience representing enterprise risk management (ERM) in senior-level internal and external governance settings.
