My Client is a global buying office who have over 2200 people over the world and with 5 factories in APAC. They are now looking for a Senior Material Sourcing Director based in Singapore/ Thailand to join their expanding team.

**Responsibilities**:
Managing the strategic sourcing activities across multiple factories around the world.

Ensure that sourcing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market

Create and review opportunities to implement best practice sourcing strategies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance and deliver best value and business savings

Develop Sourcing Strategy across APAC factories on various categories including raw materials.

Develop long-term sourcing strategies to make sure the delivery of high quality raw materials and components to support the manufacturing project across multiple manufacturing sites in APAC

Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues

Develop and execute long term sourcing strategies to ensure delivery of high-quality raw materials and components and reliable services to support manufacturing and capital projects across the multiple manufacturing sites.

Develop the ling-term partnership with the new and exiting suppliers

Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.

Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

**Requirements**:
Minimum 10 years procurement experience in MNC manufacturer

Experienced in chemical materials is an advantage

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Experienced in managing global procurement activities and vendors across countries

Ability to build cross functional teams across different geographies

Strong knowledge in ERP/MRP. Knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning process.

Proficient in English
