**My Client**:
My client is a systematic hedge fund looking to expand its systematic equity effort. This role focuses on building execution infrastructure and working closely with quant researchers to bring high-frequency strategies into production. You’ll take ownership of low-latency systems that directly impact strategy deployment and live trading performance. This new position has just been opened up and offers a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team.

**Job Responsibility**:

- Collaborate closely with quant researchers to understand strategy needs and contribute to the implementation, deployment, and real-time optimization in live trading environments.
- Design high-performance, low-latency systems to power high-frequency trading execution, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and runtime stability.
- Build and maintain research infrastructure and simulation frameworks to support faster, more robust strategy development cycles.
- Take technical ownership of system architecture decisions and lead the resolution of complex engineering challenges.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, strategy and engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment and issue resolution.

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficient in modern C++, with strong fundamentals in multithreading, networking, and system-level performance optimization.
- Familiarity with trading system components such as exchange connectivity, order lifecycle management, and market data pipelines. Prior exposure to execution systems or low-latency trading environments is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to design and evolve distributed systems in latency-critical environments, coupled with strong engineering discipline to deliver robust, maintainable, and production-grade code
- Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with prior experience working across functions to deliver real-time trading solutions.
