You will be a part of the Global Equipment Management team, you will be responsible for the regional container control & management of various locations. Using the KPIs and targets set, you will have to manage a tight inventory of containers in your locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure container turnaround time within set target.
- Containers are distributed to demand areas and customer demands are fully covered.
- Excess containers and idle inventory are kept to the mínimal.
- Manage container inventory of designated region at an optimal level.
- Supply of equipment to demand locations based on commercial projections.
- Project equipment situation based on container demand, incoming and outgoing flow.
- Plan and direct agencies on empty reposition of equipment and work with cargo flow and vendors to secure space at the lowest cost.
- Monitor local equipment operations/flow and work with agencies on cost improvement initiatives.
- Manage idle full & empty containers and ensure they are turnaround for use timely.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Logistics & Operations Management / Business Studies / Maritime Studies or equivalent preferred.
- An eye for details, sharp-minded, analytical and ability to adapt fast to service changes.
- Good interpersonal, communication skills and well-versed in computer knowledge especially in excel.
- Prior experience in selling used containers will be an advantage.
- Applicants with no experience but with keen interest in shipping industry are welcome.
