Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
- Analyze and review construction frawings and specifications to determine project requirements
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and shedules of quantities
- Prepareand evaluate tender documents and contract documents
- Review and analyze contractor /sub-contractor quotations
- Ensure that projects are completed within budget
- Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and value engineering options
- Negotiate contracts and resolve contractual issues
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
- Prepare cost reports sand forecast final project costs
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry
- Strong anaytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software programs
- Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
