**About our group**:
**About the role - you will**:
Seagate Research Group is seeking Interns in the exciting area of Data Trust. This is a position for students pursuing graduate or post-graduate studies in the area of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Work alongside our hardware and data security researchers to carrying out comparative analysis of true random number generators
- Utilize Hardware Description Language (HDL) to build bitstreams for Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)
- Evaluate the security of cryptographic algorithms and the effectiveness of countermeasures against non-invasive attacks
- Learn and contribute to hardware security of storage products

**About you**:

- Knowledge and familiarity with cryptography
- Keen interest in data and hardware security
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

**Your experience includes**:

- Comfortable with development on Windows and Linux based operating systems
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
- Understanding of mathematical principles such as linear algebra and statistics
- Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Very High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL), Verilog and FPGA development
