- Income IT is adopting site reliability engineering (SRE) principles to implement continuous operation support to business operation.- Adopting SRE principles includes focusing on faster incident detection and resolution, and to provide better operation availability and sustainability, and continuous improvement on operation efficiency.- You will join the team to automate tasks to improve operation efficiency and team productivity.- You must be able to communicate well with both internal and external partners.- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observability (50 - 70%)-
- b. Installation, configuration, and management of monitoring tool like Dynatrace- c. Implementation, enhancement, and integration of monitoring solutions to ensure pro-active monitoring and improve MTTD and MTTR- d. Customize monitoring as per requirement, such as API or plugins or engineered solution for Dynatrace- e. Configure SLI/SLO/alert/dashboard as per requirement on Dynatrace platform- f. Identify potential pain point and recommend solution for performance improvement
- BAU Support (20 - 30%)
- a. Support service request for reliability section- b. Some operation support is 24x7. Below are examples of support after office hours:
- i. If any production incident, the staff shall attend to the incident resolution immediately- ii. Support for project cutover- iii. Support for important service request upon manager approval - Automation of day-to-day operation activities (10% to 20%) a. Automation of day-to-day task using Ansible / Shell scripting /Power Shell b. Create and maintain operation automation projects using Jenkins c. Solution documentation**Requirements**:

- JOB SPECIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES- 1.- EDUCATION / TRAINING- 3.- EXPERIENCE- Diploma holder in Computer Engineering / Science, Information Technology, Electronic, Electrical, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in engineering and any automation tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- 2.- PROFESSIONAL / TRADE QUALIFICATION- IT certification in programming or technology- 4.- COMPUTER PROFICIENCY- Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, DataDog, Grafana, Zabbix - Automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible
- Experience in any scripting language like shell, power shell, python
- Familiar with some of the platforms, such as Windows, Unix, Linux, cloud, database, and middleware
