Singapore Pathlight School Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) Full time

This position involves working with pre-school aged children on the autism spectrum.
**In this job role, you will**:
Assessment
- Use formal and informal assessments to identify and report on the needs of child and family in the areas of:

- Social Communication
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Speech & Language
- Make relevant recommendations for intervention based on assessment findings

Intervention
- Formulate social communication and related holistic goals for children in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
- Plan and implement relevant interventions and programmes in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
- Monitor outcomes through regular reporting on progress of intervention goals

Training
- Develop and deliver in-service training and consultation to teachers, as well as workshops for parents/caregivers in the following areas:

- Understanding social communication and interaction in children on the autism spectrum
- Evidence-informed approaches, tools and strategies to support children on the autism spectrum

Programme Development
- Participate in curriculum / program development projects as directed

**Requirements**:

- Fully registered/eligible for full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
- Desire to learn about autism and the passion to serve the autism community.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes and different perspectives.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
