To lead our Marine business in Asia, which is part of Aon’s Commerical Risk Global Industry Specialty groups - Transport & Logistics.

**What the day will look like**
- Lead the Marine business in Asia to achieve agreed budgets, standards and other agreed targets
- Work closely with Marine global leadership and represent Asia
- Drive innovation and best practice in your business
- Utilize relationships in order to develop new business leads, including supporting all Aon Delivering Aon United initiatives
- Maintain and expand existing client relationships, while supporting all solution lines to provide solutions for clients
- Ensure your business has up to date regional Business Plan, Local Market Plans and all included in Aon systems eg Aon Connect
- Lead and manage direct reports based on Aon leadership models, as well as develop succession plans for teams
- Be a role model to all colleagues - work seamlessly with colleagues in the Aon network in an Aon United manner
- Meet Aon global and local compliance and regulatory requirements

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Significant experience as a leader in the Marine Insurance industry
- Strong relationship building and management capability in a revenue generating capacity
- Proven interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of dealing with domestic and international clients, business stakeholders and external bodies
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in the Marine insurance industry, able to identify market trends and develop this as a personal and BU-wide priority
- Strong track record of creating and influencing teams - able to motivate and inspire team to achieve success
- Enthusiastic team player with strong relationship and empathy building skills who is capable of leading change / plans to a diverse range of relationships.
- Recognised name in their chosen field of capability
- Ability to leverage data & analytics for business success
