We are representing a global Automotive Tier 1 Supplier (MNC) who has a huge R&D presence in Singapore in recruiting for their R&D Embedded Software Development team. This is a big team of approximately 300 Software Engineers in Singapore.

**Embedded Software Architect**

**(Senior Engineer to Principal Engineer level)
**Responsibilities
**Key role**
- You will be the key technical lead representing Software in new projects.
- Design innovative and robust software that meets Software requirement Specification.
- Validate software design, module interface and module functionality on Test Bench and fill up test reports
- Organize and hold design peer reviews or architecture reviews with SW Architects.
- Communication and cooperation with team members to identify and implement development improvement activities.
- Analyze Software Work packages from Software Technical Project Leaders and give commitment to work packages in terms of quality, time and cost.
- Attend and participate in regular software project meetings to give status update of work package.

**Support role**
- Support EE engineering team with implementation of test software according to their needs.
- Support System engineering team on the performance of functional tests on System Bench.
- Participate in requirement and test specification reviews with Requirement Engineers, Software Technical Project Leaders and Test Engineers.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable with minimum 6 years experience in an Embedded Software Development role holding a technical focus.
- Experience in embedded and real time programming and related microcontroller architecture
- Fluent / advanced level in written and spoken English
- Effective Communication, correct understanding & clear presentation
- Commitment to Quality, Timing and Cost of his software workpackage
- Understanding of Semiconductor Specifications for HW components and HW design schematics
