
Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

**Core Responsibilities**:
- **Site Survey & Layout**
Conduct topographical and boundary surveys, set control points and grid lines to guide construction works
- **Construction Monitoring & As‑Built Verification**
Verify that foundations, columns, utilities, and other structural elements are built according to design specifications, and perform as‑built surveys upon project completion.
- **Data Processing & Reporting**
Process field data into CAD drawings, contour models, maps or GIS outputs; produce technical reports, legal documentation, and volume or boundary calculations.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and authorities to ensure alignment between fieldwork and design plans.
- **Problem Resolution & Technical Guidance**
Provide on‑site advice to resolve layout discrepancies, support site teams, and supervise assistants or technicians.
- **Compliance & Risk Oversight**
Ensure surveying tasks follow legal, regulatory, and safety standards; support boundary disputes, insurance or contractual claims when needed.
- **Equipment & Technology Management**
Operate and maintain instruments (e.g. total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, drones, laser scanners), and utilize CAD/GIS or BIM-capable software to analyze and visualize data.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Educational Background**
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering or related field; professional certification or licensing (e.g. SISV, RICS) often required in Singapore or globally.
- **Technical & Analytical Competency**
Proven skill in geometry, trigonometry, blueprint interpretation, CAD/GIS tools, and modern surveying equipment (GNSS, total stations, drones)。
- **Soft Skills**
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, effective written and verbal communication, and capacity to work both independently and within teams。
- **Physical & Field Readiness**
Comfortable with frequent on-site fieldwork in varied outdoor conditions, and capable of meeting safety or site-specific protocols.
