**About the Team**:
- Shopee Chat is one of the products that enable meaningful interactions and communication between users. Our goal is to unlock the potential of chat to drive e-commerce growth as well as user engagement. Here within the Chat Product Management team, we bridge the business, operations and design teams together with developers to create scalable and innovative solutions, serving millions of users on Shopee everyday.- Define product vision, lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative Chat features.
- Understand and empathise, listen to the needs of the various stakeholders and develop a roadmap of features which fulfills the business needs.
- Lead interactions with stakeholders and actively engage local/regional business leaders to understand and prioritise business requirements.
- Drive innovative and scalable solution and develop a solution to ensure the fulfillment of the business needs, balancing execution speed and solution sustainability.
- Drive product iteration and improvement, and leverage feedback from internal and external users to continuously improve the product and business processes.
- Execute, implement, and manage complex, cross-functional products and lead the delivery process of these products.
- Communicate effectively and deliver high quality documentations (including but not limited to Product Requirements Document)
- Lead meetings to communicate ideas and requirements to the relevant stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree or above with a major in Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Experience in product design and development. Both Junior and Senior positions are available.
- Prior experience in managing a Chat or Instant Messaging (IM) products is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate well in a team environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with customer-oriented and execution-focused mindset.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility over given tasks.
- Strong drive and passion in product development and enhancement in order to meet business goals.
- Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to innovate product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
- Ability to use wire-frame or flowchart to illustrate design solutions in a logical and intuitive manner.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate willingness and positive attitude to learn new tasks.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
