**Responsbilities : -**
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Identify and report discrepancies to the Consultant, recommending practical solutions to prevent delays.
- Ensure all site activities comply with client requirements, building codes, and statutory regulations.
- Supervise contractors to ensure strict adherence to approved method statements and work procedures.
- Verify that works are executed in accordance with Consultant instructions.
- Conduct regular inspections to detect non-conformities (e.g., defects, poor workmanship) and enforce corrective measures.
- Inspect delivered materials for compliance with approved specifications and samples.
- Oversee and witness testing of materials (e.g., concrete, steel, finishes) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor inspection, testing, and commissioning activities to confirm alignment with design intent.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Update as-built drawings and document all approved changes.
- Prepare progress reports covering work status, delays, and safety incidents for the Project QP or Consultant Team.Verify contractors’ progress claims, including work completion and materials on-site, prior to approval.
- Monitor project schedule, report delays, and propose mitigation measures.Serve as liaison between contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Report quality concerns, safety issues, and progress challenges promptly to the Project QP or Consultant.Project Location : Changi

**Requirements:

- **
- Possess relevant Civil/Structural Engineering degree from a recognized University and is a registered Resident Engineer with IES.
- Minimum 5 years of Resident Engineer experience in supervision of Warehouse/Factory or Showroom.
- Fully conversant with Building Contract Act and Regulations. Able to administer contracts professionally, maintain site records and contract documents systematically, to meet reporting requirements under Building Control Act.
- A highly collaborative team player, recognized for strong interpersonal and communication skills essential to building productive working relationships.
