Manager, Technology and Technology Transformation

**Purpose of Job**:
The Manager will be part of the team to help SAFEF industry members develop capability.
**Responsibilities**:
- Interact and work with other government agencies, institutes of higher learning, research institutions and industry partners to develop solutions for enterprise upgrading and growth.
- Understand challenges faced by SAFEF industry members and deduce common issues faced by the industry
- Linking solution providers / institutes of higher learning with SAFEF industry membersfor possible technology adoption and suggest relevant financial assistance schemes for productivity improvement, technology upgrading and R&D
- Organise technology related events and capability building workshops / courses / advisory services.
- Disseminate information and gather feedback.
- Prepare reports, monitor and follow up on industry engagement.
- Research and analyse local as well as global trends in the agro-food industry and identify capability development initiatives to transform the industry.
**Requirements**:
- Possess knowledge and experience in Economics, Business Development, Food Science or Engineering.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Possess communication, interpersonal and writing skills.Fluency in Chinese is preferred in order to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Business-savvy, possess industry knowledge and account management skills.
- Analytical, self-motivated, result-oriented and dynamic. Able to thrive under pressure and work independently and within a team.
- Keen interest or knowledge in agricultural industry.
