Singapore EMA Energy Market Authority Full time

A Bright Green Spark for the world. Singapore is looking to green our energy production and consumption. Supporting this is the Singapore Energy Story which looks at developing four supply switches - natural gas, solar, regional power grids and low carbon alternatives. We are also looking at ways to reduce Singapore’s energy consumption and lower our carbon footprint for greater sustainability.

You will lead a strategic communications team to strategise, develop, execute and review communications and engagement strategies to publicise EMA’s policies/initiatives and raise awareness of EMA and its work. Reporting to the Director, your team will focus on areas including communications planning, message development, media planning and outreach, as well as stakeholder engagement.
- Identify, prioritise, develop and implement strategies and plans for a both internal and external audiences to achieve whole of EMA’s key communications objectives.
- Provide strategic communications counsel to EMA senior management and departments, as well as design integrated communications plans to raise awareness of EMA’s policies, announcements and the work we do. This includes looking at suitable metrics to track and measure success.
- Lead media planning and outreach efforts for EMA. Recommend and craft messaging for energy announcements and issues. With an emphasis on developing narratives and stories to distil energy and sustainability issues into relatable content for stakeholders including public and youths.
- Build relations and strengthen partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including academics and economists.
- Oversee the management and budget of appointed communications agencies and vendors.
- Lead, coach and engage team to build capabilities and ensure high levels of motivation.
