Assistant Manager, P-lines Distribution

The Business Development Senior Executive of Personal Lines, who reports directly to the Senior Business Development Manager-Personal Lines is responsible for supporting the Personal Lines business through the following work targets.

**Responsibilities**:
**Account Management & Business Development**
- Manage Corporate agent, Ensure, and the maid agencies signed under the tripartite agreement.
- Work closely with Ensure to grow the maid agencies portfolio and come out with initiatives to grow the portfolio
- Achieve sales KPI by monitoring maid agency sales performance and engage them to drive numbers
- Build good relationships and provide excellent support to maid agencies to win their support and trust to build our maid insurance business.
- Support and handles maid agencies daily queries relating to maid insurance (e.g. policy changes, policy coverage, MOM transmission status, refund status and claims)
- Provide weekly report to maid agencies to update them on their performance
- Handles claims related enquiries, appeals and escalations till resolution.
- Conduct maid insurance training, Induction training, System Training, briefing sessions for new and existing maid agencies.
- Visit every maid agency at least once a month to get to know them and create presence
- Analyse sales trends to identify opportunities, assess potential risks and propose solutions
- Perform cold call to maid agencies to sign up as Income partners and expand our distribution footprint.
- Familiar with market/competitors offering to highlight the competitive edge of Plines products to win advisors over.
- Have in-dept knowledge of Income Plines knowledge to overcome objections from advisors
- Launch initiatives to influence maid agencies to promote Income and achieve sales KPI.
- Work closely with maid agencies partners to ensure service level standards and deliverables are met

**Business Support**
- Perform the onboarding and termination process for new maid agencies and termination
- Process improvement - Identify areas of improvements to streamline the existing processes for efficiency
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure support is given to ensure we can meet the agreed SLA.
- Update maid agencies on the upcoming consumer promo for them to amend the mechanics on their website or placemat.
- Follow up on the yearly renewal GIA C1 and C2 forms for maid agencies
- Responsible to work with Legal to draft all new and renewal contracts.
- Working with stakeholders to clear new processes required to support new initiatives, e.g. API request, credit terms etc
- Ad-hoc task or projects assigned by Supervisor/HOD.
- To cover other account managers during their absence.

**Risk & Compliance**
- Ensure all sales reports are encrypted with a password before sending to external parties.
- Maintain 'œclean-desk'
- policy and ensure there are no sensitive information lying around workstations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record in account management roles and working with multiple stakeholders (internal and external stakeholders)
- Experienced in Personal lines products with good knowledge, especially maid insurance, with strong relationship building skills.
- Proven track record in managing sales activities and driving sales performance, familiar with the maid agency industry.
- Meticulous and strong execution skills
- Diploma holder, Proficient in presentations skills with strong command of English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Excel (use of intermediate level functions like lookups, pivot tables and basic formulas)
- Independent problem solver with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of operational processes (policy and service related)
- Knowledge/certification in general insurance required (BCP, PGI)
