**The Beanstalk team**

We are a specialised team of strategy, agriculture and innovation experts dedicated to the agriculture sector in the Indo-Pacific. Our role is to catalyse the adoption of new technologies and build capabilities that help to unlock our ability to produce nutritious food in a responsible, ethical and sustainable manner.

**About the Role**

As an associate, you will be working within a team to deliver agrifood innovation projects
across Australia and Indo-Pacific region. You will be working with stakeholders from startups to multinational corporations. Like peas in a pod, we’re a small and tight team with necessarily big ambitions to grow and fulfil our mission to create tangible impact across the region.

**Key responsibilities**:As an associate in the Beanstalk team, you will generally be undertaking project execution activities across 2-3 projects at any one time and have a large say in how we go about supporting our clients. The day-to-day effort might look like spending 1 day per week helping a wagyu livestock producer to digitise the assessment of their carbon footprint, and the next helping
to technologies suitable for smallholder farmers across Indonesia.

**Location**:Based in Melbourne or Singapore.

- **Your professional profile**:2-5 years into your career in an Associate role and whilst you are thankful for the valuable skills you have learned in the business world; you are ready for your next challenge in a more hands on and impactful environment.
- **Words, numbers, and people**:You love a good excel model and enjoy turning complex concepts into succinct recommendations by simplifying technical jargon and effectively communicating to clients and stakeholders. You can perform cost/benefit analysis and work with emerging technology and software.
- **Areas you want to develop**:You are self-motivated and want the opportunity to flourish in a role - to grow and make it your own. It is important to us that you are eager to grow with us, into progressively senior roles within our organisation. We have experienced consultants from organisations’ like McKinsey & Co and Boston Consulting Group to continue to support you on your learning journey.
