**The Opportunity**:
Are you passionate about marine insurance and eager to advance your underwriting career? Join our team as a Senior Underwriter in the Marine sector with a focus on marine cargo, project cargo, fine art and specie and marine liability business. You will analyze and underwrite new and renewal business, engaging with the market and providing exceptional customer service. Utilizing The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework, you will handle assignments of moderate technical complexity under limited supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and pursue renewal and new account opportunities.
- Conduct opportunity assessments with distributors to identify growth potential.
- Qualify accounts to align with organizational appetite.
- Engage in agent/broker/customer interactions and negotiate terms.
- Cross-sell additional lines of business and maintain broker/client relationships.
- Update systems with relevant account information and serve as a key contact for assigned accounts.

**Business Accountabilities**:

- Provide expert solutions and enhance business through consulting.
- Ensure project completion by maintaining dialogue with stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality technical solutions and lead complex projects.
- Utilize financial systems to track performance metrics and underwriting standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience in marine insurance.
- Excellent communication skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills and risk assessment abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships.
- Proven technical knowledge and experience in underwriting with increasing responsibility.
- Preferred: Familiarity with processing methods and insurance regulations.
