**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Regional CFO - Asia, the Regional Finance Director is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company’s financial affairs. Serving as a business partner, advisor, and key contributor to the senior leadership team in the development of long-range strategies and short-term goals through sound business insight and financial information, collaborating collectively across other departments. This is accomplished by providing financial reporting, business analysis, insight, recommendations, plans and forecasts.

**Key duties and responsibilities**

The Regional Financial Director is responsible for the financial management of the organisation. The Finance Director is responsible for:

- Managing the financial reporting for the organisations. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting
- Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the Regional CFO and Asia Task Force and other leaderships groups to make critical business decisions
- Support the formulation of business's strategy
- Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs.
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
- Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organisations is compliant with accounting standards
- Managing our Finance Centre of Excellence
- Managing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements
- Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems
- Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
- Supporting commercial decision making from margin analysis, pricing analysis etc
- Supporting commercial investment decisions
- Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations to the Regional CFO
- Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
- Reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT related policies and procedures
- Build financial acumen within the region through participation and active involvement and ensure adequate financial & operational reporting is received and effectively used to drive business decisions.

**You will have**:

- 10+ years' experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success
- Must be team oriented and have the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
- Strong Business & Finance Transformation experience
- Exceptional Finance Systems Experience
- Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analyses
- Results oriented and metrics driven
- Exceptional time management and able to solve problems
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Confident to present results to an audience
- Strategic thinking, planning and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA
- Demonstrated financial modelling skills
