**Responsibilities**:

- To perform the role of Checker/Authorizer for Banker’s Guarantees (BG) activities.
- Vet BG text and provide technical expertise to Front Office, internal Legal counsel and clients, where applicable.
- Provide guidance to processing team in BG issuance, amendment, claims and booking in back-office systems
- Ensure prompt and timely processing of BGs according to the SLA with clients and/or Front Office

Covering team leaders as and when required and acting as Checker/Authorizer for the following Singapore and Hong Kong trade finance activities:

- Import LC issuances, amendments, acceptances, payments, etc.
- Export LC advising, confirmation, negotiation, acceptance, negotiation, payment and reimbursement claim.
- Supervise and provide guidance to team members in ensuring smooth and efficient execution of BAUs relating to both SG & HK (if required) TDM transactions within the specified time frame and cut-off time.
- Ensure all SG & HK (if required) TDM transactions are duly handled and processed in accordance with the relevant procedure manual, rules and regulations.
- Daily monitoring of maturing SG & HK (if required) TDM bills/loans, if applicable, to ensure that all bills/loans are duly settled/roll-over on maturity date.
- Daily monitoring of nostro statements and funding positions to ensure that all incoming and outgoing nostro positions are duly applied and funding positions are duly reported to treasury.
- Monitor and control the holding/release of original shipping documents at the instruction and direction of Trade Finance Operations - Collateral Risk Management team (TCRM).
- Monitor and co-ordinate with TCRM in obtaining timely approval for SG & HK (if required) TDM transactions.
- Perform daily tracking of TFA transactions processed.
- Perform daily monitoring of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) conduct weekly or monthly, whichever is applicable, Quality Analysis (QA) of the transactions.
- Communicate and co-ordinate with Front Officers, HK, & other SG TDM teams and Branch’s clients for all TDM transactions.

**Requirements**:

- At least 6 years of relevant experience in managing Banker’s Guarantee activities in a bank.
- Possesses good knowledge of latest ICC rules and practices of URDG & ISP.
- Has good understanding of trade finance due diligence/AML requirements.
- Preferably has experience in leading a processing team in trade finance operations in the bank.
- Good team player and work well in fast pace working environment.
- Good attitude and interpersonal skills.
