**Job Description Summary**:
Job Summary
Production Technicians are responsible for the execution of all steps in manufacturing process for specific product lines. This position will also be involved in any new projects such as equipment validation, process validation, transfer and start-up. In addition to this role being critical to meet production schedules, it’s also important to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of the manufacturing process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating machinery or equipment to perform various functions to produce medical devices.
- Monitoring and adjusting machine settings to maintain specified tolerance levels.
- Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of processes and production output.
- Assisting with preventative maintenance and repair of machinery.
- Troubleshooting issues with equipment and collaborating with technical support staff to resolve problems.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements related to medical device manufacturing.
- Working in a team environment to achieve production targets and contribute to overall operational success.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of Diploma/NITEC in fields of Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of medical device industry and FDA regulations would be advantageous.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques would be beneficial.
