**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Main Purpose**

To maximise and contribute to the global profit of the team through trading (buy/ sell) of product, managing profit/ loss and risk for the assigned area and other activities such as blending. To co-ordinate regional trading activities with the global team as well as cross business with other products. Business developments in the assigned area.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Minimum 5 years in previous trading job with a major commodities trading company.
- Knowledge of how to trade a global arbitrage portfolio between the major naphtha supply and demand centres.
- Familiarity with pricing mechanisms and hedging strategies specific to the Asian naphtha market.
- Strong numerical ability, ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with counterparts from varying backgrounds.
- Good negotiation, good at numbers, communication and analysis.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Management of regional naphtha physical trading portfolio, ensuring that cargo logistics are well planned and optimised.
- Daily inter-regional communication, as part of keeping our core position as the main arbitrage portfolio in Asia. The Trafigura Naphtha book is heavily reliant on arbitrage flows and as a result constant, effective teamwork is required with the other regions.
- Managing risk exposure - Ensuring that the physical program is accurately hedged and all exposures are well documented and managed.
- Developing new business strategies to further grow profitability and trading volumes in the naphtha market.
- Developing and improving relationships with key stakeholders.
