Chief Information Security Officer

**The Company**
Our client is a digital financial services platform, and they are currently looking for a CISO to join their expanding team.
**The Role**
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the delivery of information security solutions, security hardware and software to cover matters such as intrusion detection, firewalls, data, encryption and endpoint management. As a CISO, you will also be tasked to define and implement the Information Systems Security Policy, track all regulatory and technical changes to ensure that the policies are in line with the regulatory standards. You will also assess risks based on threats to the information systems security, looking at the impacts and consequences, reviewing of security and IT controls to reduce operational risks. Part of your scope will include conducting risk assessments for projects, being responsible for security aspects of the business and various IT projects. You will be in charge of building a team and providing guidance and direction to staff.
**Your Profile**
You should possess at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and have minimum 15 years of experience in information technology and data management. Proven track record in project management and complex security concepts. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be hands on and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Good knowledge of the regulatory standards in the area of data protection, security of information systems is essential.
