**Job Responsibilities**:
**1. Kubernetes Lifecycle Management**:

- Oversee the full lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters across development, testing, and production environments in a multi-cloud setting.
- Handle the creation, upgrades, scaling, and decommissioning of Kubernetes clusters with efficiency.

**2. User Support**:

- Provide expert-level support to business units and divisions for Kubernetes-related queries and issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered during the adoption and use of Kubernetes.

**3. Automation Tools Development**:

- Develop and maintain automation tools to enhance Kubernetes operational efficiency across the organization.
- Ensure smooth integration of these tools with existing systems and workflows.

**4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing**:

- Prepare, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation on Kubernetes practices within the organization.
- Share best practices, tips, and updates with stakeholders to promote continuous learning.

**5. Cost Optimization**:

- Analyze Reserved Instance (RI) coverage on AWS and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement cost-control measures to manage EC2 expenses related to Kubernetes clusters.

**Job Requirements**:
**1. Expertise in Cloud-Native Technologies**:

- Deep understanding of cloud-native principles and Kubernetes ecosystems, including CRI, CNI, and other core mechanisms.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes and associated tools.

**2. Kubernetes Operator Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with Kubernetes Operators, their architecture, and practical implementation.
- Proficiency in using Operators like cert-manager for managing Kubernetes certificates.

**3. Experience with Kubernetes-based Systems**:

- Strong understanding of CI/CD systems such as GitLab-CI integrated with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with logging tools (e.g., Fluent) and monitoring platforms (e.g., VictoriaMetrics).

**4. Public Cloud Expertise**:

- Skilled in major public cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-native Kubernetes services like Amazon EKS and related ecosystems.

**5. Programming and Development Skills**:

- Strong programming background, particularly in **Go (Golang) **for building Kubernetes-related tools and extensions.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts to streamline operations.

**6. Professional Experience**:

- Minimum **6 years of relevant experience **in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and related fields.
- Proven success in managing complex Kubernetes environments at scale.

**7. Additional Desirable Skills**:

- Familiarity with multi-cloud strategies and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
