- As a Senior Consultant (Quantum) and a member of the Cyber Security Engineering Centre (CSEC), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on quantum technology. Your expertise will be essential in securing Singapore's Critical Information Infrastructure against emerging quantum threats.
- **Responsibilities**

**What you will be working on**
- Collaborate with whole-of-government teams, industry, and research partners to develop and deploy quantum-safe cybersecurity solutions (e.g., post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum key distribution (QKD)) to ensure a seamless nationwide transition to quantum-safe security.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities, potential threats, and attack vectors specific to quantum technology.
- Identify quantum-associated risks and mitigate the adoption of quantum technology.
- Develop strategies and policies for protecting emerging quantum technology.
- Stay updated with advances in quantum technology.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
**What we are looking for**
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ is advantageous
- Minimum of three years of experience working on quantum technologies, particularly in quantum cryptography, network, and communication
- Strong understanding of cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, cryptographic primitives, and PQC
- Familiarity with security attack risks on quantum networks (QKD), such as side-channel attacks, quantum state disturbance, and other novel attack methods
- Stakeholder-focused with good relationship-building, negotiation, and people management skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Driven and capable of working independently
