**Position Overview
Support effective day to day crew operation, planning, placement of seafarers onboard managed vessels. Ensures crew changes are planned at economical and convenient ports, compliance in Crewing Management System with regards to crew certification, training and documentation. Monitoring compliance of seafarers for respective vessels w.r.t certification and training. Assist Crewing Manager in planning, approvals and deployment of seafarers for respective fleet as per MSMC.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Compliance with vessel related statutory, regulatory, Wallem, Union and Client’s requirements.
- Responsible for compliance with operational responsibilities in Crew Management Software.
- Responsible for compliance with Oil Major Matrices (Q88 & OCIMF SIRE) on Tanker Fleet.
- Ensure a complete understanding of crewing and company KPI’s and compliance with the same.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the fleet.
- Responsible for timely planning of seafarers and compliance in CMS
- Communication with seafarers and their families.
- Ensure error free pre-joining documents handed over to seafarer and briefing completed.
- Responsible for on time relief, timely placement of crew onboard.
- Report performance issues of support team members to Line Manager.
- Report performance issue and on-board conflicts to Line Manager.
- For Tanker Fleet - To update OCIMF-SIRE using CMS/ Q88 software.
- Responsible for maintaining Minimum Safe Manning Certificate (MSMC)/ P&I club certificate for vessels in respective fleet.
- Responsible for arrangement of Crew related dispensation as required from flag state and ensuring closure within stipulate time.
- Responsible for closure of audit findings in PSC/MLC related to crew documentation/ certification/ training.
- Plan and control expenses as per OPEX.
- Responsible for timely processing of crew claims in CMS.
- Support Manager in maintain crew budget.
- Utilizing knowledge of ship, owner and trade specific requirements to improve crew planning, selection, retention.
- Align crew skills and specific vessel needs while placement of seafarers.
- Escalate concerns to Crewing Manager.
- Never walk past a quality problem.
- Liaise through efficient and close loop communication with all stakeholders.
- Maintain good professional relationship with colleagues in all business functions, service providers and external stakeholders.
- Provide cooperation and take initiatives to see through business results.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Undergraduate or Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime or human resources related discipline

**Key Knowledge Areas**
- Knowledge with regards to organizational procedures/relationships
- Some knowledge in ship operations (e.g., the renewal of class and statutory/flag related documents) is a plus
