**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Risk Management with focus on counterparties risk management, trade compliances & system control.
- Review trading & credit limits of new and existing counterparties, involving in-depth analysis of counterparty’s financial standing, business outlook, risks and opportunities.
- Support the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on prospective and existing counterparties to identify issues presenting potential legal, regulatory compliances risk and conduct risk assessments including collaborate and lead discussion with internal stakeholders to mitigate/ control the risks.
- Support the review of screening alerts and related escalations to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Support the integration of trade compliances program/ guidelines into daily operations including provisory of training and guidance to relevant department/ employees on trade compliance responsibilities.
- Responsible in identifying, analyzing and assessing risks, recommend controls procedures and processes in operation of the existing business & new business. Drive risk mitigation implementation to ensure risks and issues identified are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the commodity industry with specific exposure to credit risk management or risk management related field

Ø self-starter and self-motivated to work in an ambiguous environment and ensure tasks assigned are followed through to completion

Ø good leadership with proactive, strategic and hands-on approach to drive risk management initiatives

Ø dynamic, goal driven, capable of holding self and others to account on delivery

Ø excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders including senior management

Ø demonstrable analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative

Ø detailed oriented, inquisitive and ability to exercise judgement when to identify and escalate issues
