Responsibilities
- To manage international shipments.
- Plan shipment schedules according to procurement list and vendor production schedule.
- Coordinate with internal project teams and external suppliers/vendors for readiness of shipment.
- Source, negotiate, and coordinate with shipping forwarders and agents, cargo insurance companies, etc, and issue POs accordingly.
- To manage shipment documents, such as DO, packing list, commercial invoice, BL, COC, etc.
- To monitor shipment status and provide summary reports.
- Verifying billing invoices from forwarders, agents, or other service provider related to the shipments.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in relevant fields such as Logistics & Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Applicants with GCE “A” / “O” level and substantial years of relevant experience will also be considered
- Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Chinese Language is an added advantage
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience in international shipping.
- Having a Marine or Offshore background is necessary. Offshore Windfarm exposure is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
- Shipping Practices and its knowledge are required
- Strong negotiation skills is needed
- Demonstrates strong time management skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Works well in a team and communicates effectively.
- Problem-solving and attention to details are essential skills in this role
- Computer Literacy - ERP System, MS Office and Outlook
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
