**Job Title**:Platform Engineer

**Location**:Bangalore

**Impact & contribution**:
Reduce the deployment time of model by utilising advance tools and technology. In this role you’ll assist execution of strategic initiatives to improve team effectiveness and performance.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- ETL Development: Design, Develop and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency
- Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
- Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Technical Leadership: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholder to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Trouble shooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ETL processes and data integration

**Essential Skills**:

- 3 to 5+ years of experience in the IT industry with a strong background in data warehousing and ETL, particularly Ab Initio, along with hands-on technical skills.
- Extensive experience with all components of Ab Initio, including GDE, web services, continuous graphs, micrographs, and the use of Conduct>IT (Plans).
- Proficient in various Ab Initio parallelism techniques and web services.
- Experience in Ab Initio BRE (Business Rule Environment) or ACE (Application Configuration Environment) is desirable.
- Skilled in using Ab Initio AIR commands, m commands, and Unix shell scripting.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, etc., is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
- Knowledge on the AWS is plus.
- Desire to take ownership and manage delivery end-to-end, with comfort in working with remote teams.

**Education Qualification**:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
