We are seeking a qualified Technical Superintendent for a global maritime company, committed to ensuring vessels comply with Class, Flag State, and Major Oil Company requirements. What will you be doing?

As the Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

- Fulfilling Class and Flag State requirements, ensuring all certificates are valid.
- Providing technical expertise and consultancy for vessel repairs and troubleshooting.
- Planning and overseeing drydocking requirements, including cost analysis and performance monitoring.
- Evaluating store/spare requisitions and managing underperforming ships.
- Addressing defects and proposing specifications for vessel compliance.
- Coaching and motivating team members, overseeing ship staff welfare and management.
- Certificate of Competency (Class I) or Chief Engineer Foreign Going.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Superintendent or 6 months as Chief Engineer onboard company vessels.
- At least 5 years of tanker experience.
- Strong negotiation and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
