**About**
Our client is a leading international trading company, who are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laytime Analyst with operations experience to join their team.

**Job Summary**
As a Senior Laytime Analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and analyzing the laytime operations for our shipping activities. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, minimizing demurrage costs, and optimizing vessel utilization. This position requires a deep understanding of laytime calculations, demurrage claims, and strong analytical skills. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including chartering, operations, legal, and finance departments.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze voyage orders, charter parties, and other relevant shipping documents to determine laytime calculations, demurrage claims, and potential risks.
- Monitor vessel operations and cargo handling to ensure compliance with charter party terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve laytime-related disputes and negotiate favorable outcomes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including charterers, vessel owners, and port agents.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, market trends, and best practices related to laytime operations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other relevant documents to communicate findings and recommendations to management.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Laytime Analyst, preferably with a focus on operations.
- Strong understanding of laytime calculations, charter parties, demurrage claims, and relevant shipping regulations.
- Proficient in using laytime software and other relevant tools for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of vessel operations, port operations, and cargo handling processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
