Assistant Vice President, Investment and Asset

Asset Management:

- Develop and recommend strategies to maximize performance and enhance assets
- Formulate action plans with marketing and property management to meet the strategies developed
- Assess revenues and expenses with review of actual performance against budget and strategies
- Prepare budgets and periodic forecasts relating to net property income and capital expenditure of the portfolio
- Monitor progress of asset enhancement works and to oversee and coordinate the actions of the property manager
- Consolidate and analyse data at individual property and portfolio level for periodic and ad hoc result announcements / investor meetings
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports outlining performance by property and portfolio levels for internal management/trustee
- Assist in preparation of company annual reports and circulars

Investment Management (Main Focus):

- Source data centre investment opportunities globally
- Lead in the evaluation, structuring and execution of acquisitions
- Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions; present financial analysis to key stakeholders
- Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/ consultants
- Prepare investment papers, presentations and other materials as required
- Review legal documents
- Prepare regular sector research to keep appraised of updated trends and market news/information including the review and analysis of financial, market information and analyst reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business, Real Estate Management or equivalent from a good university
- Prior experience in investment management / asset management
- Prior knowledge and experience in data centre investment management or design and operations would be a plus
- Experience in leading team and guiding juniors
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the real estate industry
- Good report writing, verbal, financial modelling and presentation skills
- Independent and able to work under tight deadlines
- Team player
