**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Position**:Kitchen Steward Supervisor**

**Reporting To**:Executive Chef/Kitchen Operations Manager**

The kitchen steward supervisor shoulders a wide range of responsibilities. He/she tries as much as possible to make sure that the stewarding team under his/her supervision carries out their functions effectively.
- Establishment of cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures
- Coaching and developing employees
- Scheduling and assigning specific duties/roles to cleaners and ensuring that they are carried out expertly
- Inspection of cleaning equipment on a regular basis to know when they are worn-out and request for replacement
- Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse
- Providing any form of required assistance to cleaners while they carry out their duties.

**Who are we looking for**:

- Preferably with Food Shop Hygiene Maintenance (Clean Food Shops - CLCFS) Certificate
- Must possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening
- Must have good interpersonal attributes.
- Must display a high level of integrity due to being in a position to take care of people’s personal belongings
- Decision-making ability
- Proactive in the line of duty
- Have the ability and willingness to work as part of a team, and most importantly, lead a team
- Relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures
- Must have the basic knowledge for Basic Food Hygiene
