**Overview**:
As a Structural Manager based is Singapore you will hold a key role within the Singapore Technical Centre.

You have a strong background in structural engineering and you are able to produce and review temporary works designs.

This position comes with a wide-ranging set of responsibilities, from hands on design of temporary steel works, review designs by others, mentoring junior engineers, and overseeing project safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Management of the structural team: manage the workload distribution and resource allocation, ensuring the deliverables meet company and industry standards

**Structural Design**:Produce and review structural designs for temporary steel structures such as launching gantries, lifting frames, and other steelworks.

**Mentorship**: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster their professional growth.

**Project Management**: Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and timeline objectives. Coordination with TC methods and site production teams.

**Client Communication**: Maintain effective communication with clients to address their needs and expectations.

**Required Skills**:

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and excel as a team player.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate robust analytical capabilities and a strong background in temporary works design (steel).
- Practical approach in designing of temporary steelwork related to production usage as well as ergonomic and safety aspects.

**Required Experience**:

- A master's degree (preferably) or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in both permanent and temporary works design.
- Strong experience in the design of steel structures.
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral, as it will be the primary language of communication.

**Preferred Experience**:
While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is preferred:

- Repair and strengthening design of existing structures.
- Knowledge and use of Sofistik.
- Autodesk, inventor / solidworks knowledge.
