Manager, Cyber Security (Assurance)
**Job Purpose**
Security, privacy and operational resilience are critical issues facing all organizations today. We are currently looking for qualified and capable security minded individuals to be the driving force behind SMRT’s cyber security measures with the goal of enabling ongoing, secure and reliable operations across the enterprise.
**Responsibilities**
As a Manager, Cyber Security (Assurance), you will work as part of the team to drive cyber security assurance in both ICT and Operational Technology systems. Specific responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
- Be a cybersecurity assurance champion for both the ICT and Operational Technology (OT) security environment, assisting the CISO in covering cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance for the Group.
- Work closely with technical teams (including architects and other security specialists to ensure adequate cybersecurity risk management and compliance processes and mechanisms are in place throughout all systems and platforms meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with enterprise risk management (ERM) team to align cybersecurity risk management and compliance processes with the Group-level risk management framework.
- Serve as a cybersecurity assurance expert in helping the Group with risk management and compliance against cybersecurity policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Manages and coordinates responses to regulatory inquiries, inspections, audits and guides technical teams in remediation of regulatory findings.
- Research, design and advocate new technologies and products that will support cybersecurity assurance requirements.
**Qualifications & Work Experience**
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of experience in risk assurance / management work.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCoP) will be advantageous
- Possess good understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance and risk management
- Ability to communicate effectively to explain risks and to provide clear and effective mitigations or remediations
- Cybersecurity credentials such as CISSP, CISM and CRISC will be advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
