The Community Intern's role would focus on working with the Program Manager in the development and growth of IVA through community engagement and outreach efforts.

While some relevant experience is preferred, it is not required.

**About the role**.**:
The role of the Community Intern include supporting the accelerator program end-to-end has many aspects and not all can be listed, but to give a rough idea of the role, here are some of the things that you will do:
Take the lead in community building and outreach efforts

Engage with the cohort, alumni and community through different channels

Assist with campaign materials/assets and activations for social media and/or other marketing platforms

Assist in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating initiatives to engage the community

Assist in formulating, initiating and conducting plans and programmes to foster community involvement

**The Must-Haves.**:
To succeed in this role, here are some of the qualities or skills we think you should have:
Effective communicator, critical thinker and able to collaborate effectively in verbal or written mediums

Able to build relationships with partners and represent IVA in the ecosystem

Good knowledge of social media tools

Focus on operational improvements and efficiency

Strong interest and affinity to technology, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital, innovation and sustainability

Able to learn quickly and operate independently

Resourceful, creative and has good organisational and project management skills

Detail oriented, proactive, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
