CTO

Our client is a tech focused company with 3 verticals - in ASEAN’s Property Technology landscape, the Regional Snacks eCommerce industry and the Alcohol eCommerce market.

They are looking for a Head of Engineering / CTO, who is able to lead the direction of the tech team and to build a strong engineering culture.

**What you will be working on**:

- Define, implement and manage the standards and processes that govern the technology operations of the organization to generate efficiencies, and competitive advantages
- Be responsible for the overall enterprise IT infrastructure and Data.
- Take a strategic view on architecture and toolsets for the business long term plan.
- Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
- Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions
- Outline the goals for research and development.
- Create detailed timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services
- Manage technology budgets and time frames
- Stay on top of technology trends and developments
- Lead and mentor other highly skilled engineers, building a progressive and innovative engineering culture
- Attract, retain and develop high-quality talent to our organization
- Strategic planning, product development and implementation, quality assurance and production systems maintenance
- Ensure a continuous cycle of innovation, deliver the highest standard of user experience as we continuously deliver new products, features and capabilities.

**We are looking for**:

- Masters/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, and/or industry certification
- Technical knowledge of Frontend & Backend development
- 8 years working in a technological role
- 5 years of managerial experience.
- Strategic thinking and being able to connect business requirements to technology solutions.
- Strong business acumen
- Knowledge of technological and innovation trends.
- Able to create a data-driven strategy focusing on customer experience and personalisation
- Proven experience in successfully delivering technology solution
- Understand or have knowledge of: Flutter, Unity3D, Wordpress, Vue.js, Laravel (PHP), Javascript, Python
