Mott MacDonald Singapore is currently recruiting a Climate Change Consultant (Graduate) to work in our Advisory Sector. Within this graduate role you will begin to support working with a variety of global clients to deliver technical advisory services spanning climate resilience, risk and vulnerability assessment, and climate adaptation planning. This will involve a mixture of technical assignments for clients, internal technical advice, and proposal management and writing.

As part of the role, key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting climate resilience, adaptation and vulnerability projects in the Climate and Environment team.
- Utilising climate projection data to conduct modelling and analysis of different climate scenarios for client projects, spanning sectors such as water, energy, infrastructure and transport.
- Assessing climate risks for clients and developing recommendations to improve resilience and support climate adaptation.
- Preparing written reports and presentations for clients.
- Supporting the climate and environment team to prepare client proposals and win work.
- Contributing to the development of new technical tools and capabilities to support the development of the group’s climate resilience service offering.

- About You:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as climate change, geography, environmental science, development, economics or similar.
- It would be desirable to demonstrate prior interest and experience in climate change, infrastructure/project financing, climate models/finance.
- Self-motivated, analytical with a learning mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
- Excellent written communication with great attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- A digital aptitude, strong learning mindset and interest to commit to driving social and sustainable outcomes in all that we do.
- Collaborative, open, and constructive approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A team player who is enthusiastic, driven and committed.
