The Chief Merchandising Officer is in charge of the creation and implementation of merchandising strategies in their company. Their goal is to maximise the achievement of business goals through merchandise planning, product launches, pricing strategies, and other techniques that maximise sales, margins, and overall profitability.
- Manage the Buying and Merchandising team and be responsible for the entire Buying and Merchandising function for both travel retail and e-commerce
- Provide detailed analysis and trade reports on a regular basis
- Organise and manage the Buying for Singapore's operations
- Fully accountable for the entire stock management system
- Responsible for producing all in-season reports, forecasting and buying plans
- Measure and monitor the performance of the business on a weekly basis
- Be completely in charge of the allocation & distribution of stock
- Partner with the Retail teams to ensure launches, sales etc. are actioned seamlessly
- Partner with the senior management team to create and implement strategies, processes / procedures and guidelines
- Operates as a strategic business manager, overseeing the teams and their processes, demonstrating best practise

**Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree
- An advanced degree in Merchandising or business (MBA) is preferred
- Merchandising Experience in Liquor & Tobacco industry is required
- 10 years of experience in a leadership role

- Experience of working in a fast paced fashion retailing environment with solid merchandising experience
- Currently at Merchandise Manager / Director level or equivalent
- Proen track records from Retail / Travel Retail / FMCG environment
